A representative of ModiLuft (tr 46477) it is at the Hotel Vaibhav. Biuro Sahara India Airlines (tt 44853) it is located close to the roundabout in La-Hurabir.
Several Indian Airlines flights depart or depart from Benares. ModiLuft and a special tourist plane fly daily on the Delhi route – Agra – Khadzuraho – Benares and back.

There is no direct connection to Khajuraho. The best way to get to Satna is by train, and from there by bus ( 3-4 time.).
Train The main railway station in Benares is Varanasi Junction (Vara-nasi Cantonment). The computerized ticket office is located in a separate building (Ott. pn. – sb. 8.00 – 20.00, nd. 8.00 – 14.00).
Few trains serve the Delhi line – Benares – Calculate. Most trains from Delhi to Calcutta stop at Mughalseraj station, 12 km south of Benaresu. There are buses to Mughalseraj (45 min.), pace (10 INR) or auto-rickshaws (40 INR). Passing, especially on the bus, not one of the most pleasant. Grand Trunk Rd is always full of traffic jams. At the train station in Mughalseraj you can spend the night in retiring roonis (two 60 INR). The hotels opposite the station are dirty and unpleasant.
Nepal It is better to get to the Nepalese border by bus than by narrow-gauge railway. To the border crossing in Sonaula, via Gorakhpur, state buses depart in the morning and evening (regular bus 81 INR, deluxe 100 INR; 9 time.).
The private line has additional connections to Kathmandu and Pokhara. price 250 INR includes travel and accommodation in one of the Spartan hotels of Sonauli. It is much more advantageous to take a private bus to Sonaula (deluxe 150 INR, regular bus is much cheaper). You can then choose a hotel on the border and a bus to Kathmandu or Pokhara (Nepali equivalent 70 INR).
Communication
The airport Babatpur airport lies in the distance 22 km from the city. The airport bus departs from the Hotel Vaibhav in Cantonment, stops at most Cantonment hotels (10.30, 14.30; 25 INR).

Bus In the city center, not far from the ghats there is the Godaulia bus stop. It is easy to walk to the Lanka stop from the university. Ticket for the train station route – Godaulia costs money 1 INR. It is most convenient to get on at the first stop, because the buses in Benares can be very crowded.
Auto Rickshaw and Pace They have fixed routes, and fixed prices on these routes (1-3 INR). They are extremely crowded. remember that, if you want to take more luggage with you.
Transfer from the train station (north exit) costs for the Cantonment TV Tower 1 INR, and for the building of the Civil Court 2 INR (tutor rickshaws heading towards Sarnath).
At the southern exit of the station, there are auto-rickshaws and paces to Lahurabiru, for the Civil Court building and for Godaulia (3 INR).
Bike rickshaws and Zrikszarzami bikes cannot be set at a reasonable price – and that is the fundamental truth, which you must always remember. Ride a bike rickshaw on the train station section – Godaulia (near the Dasaswamedh ghat) should cost approx 10 INR, but the rickshaw driver is sure to ask twice as much. And for "two rupees each place" – what the promises sound like – the rickshaw driver takes you to the hotel, from which he gets a commission, included in the price of the room.
Bicycles can be rented in the area of Lanka (about 15 INR / day).
